Loss feels hard,
It can make you break,
You’re told to be strong,
So you just fake,
Life is dull when your not there,
So suddenly I just stop and stare,
All the things we could have done,
But I still sit here all stunned,
I heard people say life is short,
Now I listen to what I am taught,
Know you're gone, I need support,
And thinking of you is my last resort,
Dreams of you flood my brain,
And sometimes I feel like I need a drain,
Life goes fast,
But still it doesn’t erase the past.
